Website Research
Every week I am going to do some layout research on websites which i find interesting.
Thorpe Park

A very simple and interesting layout which is made to look fun and inviting. Flash animations take up most of this site (menu bar as well as a new ride advert)
Norwich University of the Arts

Again a simple design which gives you all the information you need right in front of you. Using one main colour (yellow) and some shades (Black, grey and white) work well because they suit the Universities logo.
N4G.com

A website which features the latest news on games. This layout is quite chaotic but it also has some elements of simplicity, such as the images on the top of the screen leading you to the most popular stories. Gradients are also used in this site
